Japan in the eyes of the Swedish public: a friendly and trusted partner

Following the results from the Asian barometer survey presented in UI Report No.2:2022, this brief dives deeper the into the Swedish view of Japan. Overall, the survey results showed that the Swedish public has a positive view of Japan. This brief further examines Swedish perceptions of Japan by discussing how it is viewed in the public, in the media and how it is perceived in relation to politics and international relations.
