Geocultural Power in Foreign Policy

This policy brief explores the significance of geocultural power in understanding foreign policymaking in the Red Sea region. We exemplify with the case of the Ethiopian and Turkish governments, and how they invoke specific historical and cultural narratives in order to advance foreign policy objectives.
