Everyday insecurities: Expanding the security debate in Sweden

There has been a shift in the European security landscape in the past decade, as military security questions have taken an increasingly important place in the societal debate around security. This paper focuses on how military security risks marginalizing the everyday threats and insecurities faced by individuals to demonstrate how a gender analysis can introduce a new perspective to the public debate on security in Sweden.
