A partnership for a changing world: reflections on the future of Sweden-India relations
Sweden and India recently celebrated 75 years of diplomatic relations. Much has changed in the two countries, and the world, since 1948. In this report, five experts and practitioners share their views on how relations between the two countries could evolve. The contributions range from reflections on whether Sweden’s outreach to India is attuned to New Delhi’s foreign policy outlook, what Sweden could learn from the remarkable transformation in US-India relations, or how actors like Russia and China may complicate the Sweden-India partnership, to suggest new ways in which Sweden and India could combine forces elsewhere in the world, or in new economic or technological domains.
