Ludvig is a researcher in the Europe Programme at the Swedish Institute of International Affairs (UI).
His main area of research is the EU’s role as a geopolitical actor.
Prior to joining UI, Ludvig worked as a political advisor in the Stockholm regional government and as a geopolitical consultant.
Ludvig has studied history and international politics at the Paris Institute of Political Studies (Sciences Po). He has a bachelor’s degree in political science from Uppsala University and a master’s degree in security politics and crisis management from the Swedish Defence University.
