Promoting Cooperation, Partnership and Connectivity between Europe and Asia
A seminar on how the link between Europe-Asia can be strengthen to reach the full potential in a fast changing world and where global challenges face Asians and Europeans alike.
The Asia-Europe Meeting (ASEM) is an intergovernmental forum for dialogue and cooperation which fosters political dialogue, reinforces economic cooperation and promotes collaboration in other areas of mutual interest. Two years ago, in Ulaanbaatar, the ASEM leaders decided to designate a day in March as the “ASEM Day”. In order to highlight this, the Ministry for Foreign Affairs and the Swedish Institute of International Affairs arranded a seminar to discuss how Europe can strengthen and deepening our cooperation, partnership and connectivity with Asia.
