Nordsäk 19- Workshop
Is NATO becoming brain-dead as argued by the French President Macron? Is the EU about to develop an autonomous role in defense policy, or does the future lie in smaller "minilateral" clubs such as French E2I and British JEF? And how does the rapid development of European security cooperation platforms affect the Nordic countries?
This workshop will look at how Sweden, Norway and Finland position themselves in relation to the questions above. What are the synergies between these formats? How and in what functions do they overlap? Researchers from each country will present their analyzes, followed by a discussion between experts on the subject.
The workshop is part of the research project Nordsäk19, enabled by the financial support of the Swedish Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
