Jakob Hedenskog is an Analyst at Stockholm Centre for Eastern European Studies (SCEEUS) at UI.
Jakob Hedenskog came to UI from the Swedish Defence Research Agency (FOI) in 2021. He has many years of experience studying Russia and Eastern Europe, in particular Ukraine, Belarus, Moldova, and the countries in the South Caucasus (Armenia, Azerbaijan, and Georgia). Jakob has a master’s degree in Slavic languages and political science with a focus on Eastern Europe from Uppsala University. He has previously also worked at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs based at the embassy in Kyiv.
